The Patriot-E is a long-range UHF RFID reader designed for access control applications. It operates at 902–928 MHz and provides an average read range of 18–25 feet, depending on the site and RFID tag.
The reader uses a circular polarized 7.5 dBi antenna and supports multiple Wiegand bit formats. Communication interfaces include Wiegand, RS-232, RS-485/OSDP, and relay contact, with optional Ethernet and Wi-Fi available for reader configuration.
The Patriot-E can store up to 500 authorized tag numbers directly in the reader, allowing access control without a separate door controller. It also supports adjustable read range, configurable LED and buzzer timing, and an arming input.
