The Watchman® W461 & W462 Video Intercoms are advanced telephone entry systems with live streaming video designed for multifamily and commercial properties with walk-up visitor entrances. Both models feature a 7.5-inch color touchscreen housed in a slim enclosure approximately one inch deep and combine visitor management with access control functionality. The appropriate model is selected based on the required network connectivity and whether support for external cameras is needed.
The W461 supports Verizon and AT&T LTE cellular networks as well as a hardwired internet connection, while the W462 is designed for hardwired internet connectivity using a streamlined one-step VPN configuration. Both models provide up to 1,500 directory listings, a full numeric keypad supporting up to 10,000 local access codes and 64,000 non-local access codes, a built-in camera for live streaming video and still image capture, and a built-in HID card reader. The systems also include one 26-bit Wiegand input for integration with pedestrian gates, card readers, keypads, or wireless remotes. QR Code and PIN Code Visitor Passes can be issued for recurring, temporary, or one-time access through the TrueCloud Connect™ portal or the CellGate app.
Residents and authorized users can receive live streaming video and two-way voice communication through the CellGate app. The system supports sequential calling to up to six app video contacts and three voice-only telephone numbers, while Voice Mail Intelligence (VMI) detects voicemail and automatically advances to the next contact. Administration is performed through the cloud-based TrueCloud Connect™ platform, where users can manage call groups, access codes, schedules, notifications, event logs, visitor passes, and user permissions. The platform also integrates with Yardi and RealPage property management software. Optional enhancements include a solar power kit for both models and support for up to three external cameras on the W461. Both models require a monthly recurring service charge for ongoing use of CellGate cloud services.
