The Watchman® W480 & W482 Video Intercoms are visitor management systems designed for single-family homes, multi-family communities, and commercial properties. Both models feature an 8-inch high-contrast color touchscreen, live streaming video, telephone entry functionality, SmartScreen call management, and QR or PIN Code Visitor Passes. The W480 supports Verizon and AT&T LTE cellular networks or a hardwired internet connection, while the W482 is designed for hardwired internet connectivity with one-step network configuration and optional SurePath internet-to-cellular failover.
Both models support up to 1,500 directory listings and include a full numeric keypad capable of storing up to 10,000 local access codes and 64,000 non-local access codes. QR Code and PIN Code Visitor Passes can be issued for recurring, temporary, or one-time use through the TrueCloud Connect™ portal or the CellGate app. Each unit is available with either one 26-bit Wiegand input or three 26-bit Wiegand inputs, depending on installation requirements. A built-in HID card reader and integrated camera provide live streaming video, visitor photos during access attempts, and on-demand image capture through the CellGate app. Pedestal and recessed mounting options are also available.
The Watchman® W480 & W482 support live video and two-way voice communication through the CellGate app. Visitors can be connected to up to six app video contacts and three voice-only telephone numbers, while Voice Mail Intelligence (VMI) detects voicemail and automatically proceeds to the next contact. Through the CellGate app, authorized users can remotely control gates and entry points, receive text or email notifications with visitor photos, issue QR or PIN Code Visitor Passes, capture photos on demand, and receive gate-open notifications. Administration is managed through the cloud-based TrueCloud Connect™ platform, which supports user management, access codes, schedules, photos, event logs, and integrations with Yardi and RealPage property management software.
