The SR-2400 is AWID’s Sentinel-Prox™ proximity reader designed for access control applications. It provides a 4 to 5.5-inch read range and combines a compact design with Wiegand compatibility for small and large-volume OEM and dealer installations.
The reader is metal compensated to minimize read-range loss when mounted on metal mullions, doors, or window frames. Its electronics are potted with epoxy compound for demanding environmental applications, while an LED and Piezo beeper provide visual and audible feedback. The SR-2400 uses an industry-standard 26 to 50-bit Wiegand output and is compatible with Wiegand access control systems.
