The XR-3600 is a mullion-mount UHF reader designed as a near-field partner for AWID’s UHF long-range readers. It uses the same AWID uAxcess cards and tags for vehicle and pedestrian access, allowing one credential to support access at gates and doors.
The reader is designed for narrow mounting locations, including door frames and window mullions less than 2 inches wide, as well as walls. Its 6-inch read range supports single-card reads in heavy pedestrian traffic. The XR-3600 provides visible and audible feedback for each card read and connects to an access control panel like a proximity reader.
