The XM-700 is a switchplate-type UHF reader designed for access control at building doors and parking facility gates. It provides a 5- to 7-foot read range and supports AWID uAxcess UHF cards and tags.
The reader provides selectable Wiegand or OSDP communication, along with simultaneous RS-232 connectivity. It is designed to support migration to OSDP without requiring existing users to be re-credentialed and is backward compatible with existing installations.
The XM-700 mounts on a wall or single-gang utility box and provides LED and audible feedback during credential reads. It requires no reader programming and reads all AWID UHF cards.
