The 9500 Maximum Security series is designed for very large and very heavy vehicular slide gates in maximum security applications. DoorKing specifies the series for Class III and Class IV operation and states that these operators must not be used in applications serving the general public.
The series uses a high-tensile steel alloy #100 roller chain as the pulling medium and provides variable speed operation. Models are available with 5 HP, 7.5 HP, and 10 HP motors, with maximum gate capacities ranging from 15,000 to 28,000 pounds depending on the model and power configuration.
The 9500 series includes selectable stop/reverse functionality, partial-open and anti-tailgate operation, plug-in loop detector ports, Gate Tracker™ data output, built-in power and reset switches, and two 115 VAC convenience outlets. Polyurethane housing is standard, with an optional 10-gauge steel housing.
